Disclosure
Our approach to editorial independence, sponsorship, affiliate links and review access, including how commercial relationships are identified.
Last updated
Editorial independence
TalePick’s recommendations are based on editorial judgement and the needs of our readers. Commercial enquiries, complimentary access and advertising arrangements do not buy a favourable verdict or give a partner approval over an independent review.
Our Editorial Policy sets out the standards for sources, reviews and attribution.
Commercial relationships
The articles published on TalePick are not sponsored, and their links do not earn us affiliate commissions. Mentioning a title, publisher, platform or service does not by itself indicate a partnership.
Where a commercial relationship applies to future coverage, it will be identified with the relevant content. Readers should be able to understand the relationship before weighing a recommendation.
Affiliate links
An affiliate link can earn a publisher a commission when a reader makes a qualifying purchase or takes another eligible action. If TalePick uses such a link, we will explain the commission relationship near the recommendation or link, rather than relying on this page alone.
Sponsorship and review access
Paid content will carry a clear label such as “Advertisement” or “Sponsored.” A paid placement is separate from an independent editorial review.
When a complimentary copy, subscription, event invitation or other material benefit is relevant to our coverage, we will disclose it in the article. Accepting access does not guarantee publication or a positive assessment.
Questions about a disclosure
If a relationship is unclear or a disclosure appears to be missing, email admin@talepick.com with the article link and the passage concerned. For business proposals and press enquiries, visit our Contact page.
