The SpongeBob x One Piece Happy Meal launched in the US on September 15, 2026, with 15 collectible toys. Each design pairs a Bikini Bottom character with someone from One Piece. McDonald’s announced the collection for participating US restaurants for a limited time.
For collectors, the useful questions are which toy is which and whether a nearby restaurant has the one you want. The character guide below helps you identify the set; local staff can confirm current stock.

The McDonald’s US announcement confirms the September date and 15-toy collection. It does not publish a fixed nationwide end date or promise that every restaurant has the full set at once.
All 15 SpongeBob x One Piece toys
Use the pairings to check a toy against the collection. SpongeBob appears twice, as Luffy and as Gear 5 Luffy. Those are two different designs, so a SpongeBob toy does not automatically mean you already own both.

How to find a specific toy near you
- Choose the restaurant you actually plan to visit. A national promotion does not tell you what is in that store’s remaining stock.
- Ask whether it still has the SpongeBob x One Piece toys. Give both character names, such as “Gary as Chopper,” or show a picture.
- Ask whether you can choose a design before paying. Do not assume the answer will be the same at another location.
- Check what came with the order before leaving. If it is different from what staff confirmed, ask about it there.
For the full set, save the character list on your phone and mark each design as you get it. Photograph your collection before shopping so you can check for duplicates without relying on memory.
How much is it, and can you buy a toy separately?
Check the price for your selected restaurant through McDonald’s US website or app. Compare the final total for your chosen meal and ordering method. A price in someone else’s video is not necessarily the price you will be charged.
The US announcement does not establish a nationwide toy-only purchase policy. Ask the restaurant directly if that is all you want. It also does not guarantee that ordering several Happy Meals will produce different designs, so confirm the available choices before paying for duplicates you do not want.
End date, weekly rotation and rare toys
McDonald’s describes the offer as limited time, while supplies last. There is no fixed US end date, guaranteed weekly release schedule or official rarity ranking in the announcement.
Treat claims that a particular day guarantees Gear 5, or that a missing toy must be a secret chase figure, cautiously. A design being hard to find at your nearest restaurant only tells you about that location. Ask another participating store before deciding a resale premium is worthwhile.
