You can use the series page on Crunchyroll to catch up now. The full title is The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat. Select Season 1 to watch the existing episodes while you wait.

An English dub release date is still unannounced. If you prefer dubbed episodes, check Season 2’s audio options when it launches; the existing Season 1 dub does not establish the sequel’s schedule.

What does the trailer tell us about the story?

The sequel brings Lugh and his companions into an academy setting. The central assignment still matters: the assassin reincarnated as Lugh was tasked with killing the Hero who is prophesied to destroy the world. The new promotional material introduces Epona, the Hero, and Neusch alongside the returning cast.

The production has not specified the full range of novel volumes being adapted, so the preview does not tell us where Season 2 will end.

Who is making the sequel?

The official trailer announcement lists Masafumi Tamura as director, Katsuhiko Takayama on series composition and scripts, and Eri Osada on character design. SILVER LINK. handles animation production for Season 2.

Kenji Akabane returns as Lugh, with Reina Ueda as Dia, Yuki Takada as Tarte and Shino Shimoji as Maha. The official Japanese cast list names Sumire Uesaka as Epona and Yuki Tonosaki as Neusch.

How to catch up before January

Watch Season 1’s 12 episodes in order. The sequel continues the same protagonist’s mission, so jumping straight to the academy would miss how Lugh builds his skills and relationships with Dia, Tarte and Maha.

Returning viewers should refresh the goddess’s assignment, the Tuatha De family’s role and Lugh’s relationships with his companions. Reading ahead in the novels is optional and will reveal developments beyond Season 1.
