What should you watch before Season 2?
Start with Season 1, episodes 1 to 12, in release order. Season 2 continues Kimihiko Kimizuka’s story. The first season establishes his partnership with Siesta, the people he meets after her death and the conspiracy connecting those relationships.
If you finished Season 1 a while ago, revisit its closing episodes to refresh the connections between Siesta, Kimihiko and SPES. Avoid character wikis if you want to stay unspoiled: later novel developments can appear beside basic profile information. You may also see the series called Tanmoshi or Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru; those names refer to the same show.
